Events

There are growing challenges concerning the capacity, speed and cost of data centers. To meet these challenges we need to integrate photonic interconnects into our communication. Motivated by their success in developing new photonic interconnect technologies researchers are currently to transfer these results into optical system solutions for holistic photonic technologies.

On May 4, 2017, Fraunhofer IZM, a world-leader in the development of photonic solutions for data centers, is hosting the one-day seminar "Photonics in DataCenter", organized in cooperation with OptecBB and Tektronix. Experts from science and industry will be presenting current research results and application examples.

A highlight of the event will be a "lunch-on" (lunch + hands-on) with a live-demonstration of highest performance measurement instruments with Tektronix, VISystems and TTM/PhoxTroT.
