ReECar – Sustainability by ReUsing Electronic Assemblies in Automotive Applications
Electronic assemblies are indispensable in modern automobiles. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly difficult to provide spare parts during an automobile’s entire product life span: The innovation cycle of electronic assemblies (5 years) is clearly lower than the product life span of automobiles. In the automotive industry the supply of spare parts has to be guaranteed for a period of about 20 years.
