How to reach us in Dresden

• from Dresden central station (Please consider a travel time of around 40-50 minutes)

Use bus number 81 in direction “DD Wilschdorf“. Exit at terminal stop “Wilschdorf AMD”. You will find Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID after a 10 minute walk on your right. Busses leave every 20 minutes. From “Dresden Hauptbahnhof” please take a train to “Dresden Neustadt” and continue as described above.

Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID is most conveniently reached by taxi. From the airport it is a 10 min ride. From city center please allow 25 minutes time.

• from Airport Dresden (travel time approx. 10 min, 5 km)
  Leave the airport premises by taking the road „Wilhelmine-Reichard-Ring“ in southwestward direction. Take a right onto “Herman-Reichelt-Straße (B 97)”. You will pass the “Autobahn” A4 by using an underbridge. You are now on “Wilschdorfer Landstraße”.
  After two exits for GlobalFoundries (gate 1+2) exit left going to “Boxdorf”. At the next intersection keep on going straight – do not follow the course of the main road going right. In approx. 300m, Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID will come up on your right.
• from Dresden central station (travel time approx. 25 min, 14 km)
  Turn left onto “St-Petersburger-Straße” (B170) in northern direction. Follow the yellow “B170” signs. Follow the B170 for approx. 9 km. The B170 is now called “Radeburger Strasse”. Follow the road for about another 2 kilometers until you reach the road “Wilschdorfer Landstraße”. Turn left here. Follow the airport instructions above as described in section 2.
