At the NBT Berlin - Neural Engineering and Brain Technologies conference, experts from industry and research come together to gather research results, discuss innovative technologies, and find practical application methods in the field of neuroscience and brain technology. The technical program offers insights into new products and technologies for a broad spectrum of brain research, from restoration and enhancement of brain function to treatments and possible cures for brain disorders. Two key topics this year include bioelectronics and neural interfaces, and advances in EEG (electroencephalography).

The exhibitors' products are aimed at engineers, technical directors, but also researchers from science and industry.

Fraunhofer IZM's working group "Technologies of Bioelectronics" is presenting some flexible electrode samples and a portable demonstrator of a neurostimulator at NBT Berlin, as well as small devices for the audience to interact with.
