On June 28, 2025, as part of the Long Night of Science, Fraunhofer IZM and the Technical University of Berlin opened their doors to the public. Visitors of all ages had the opportunity to learn about research and development in microelectronics and microsystems technology firsthand.

Both institutions provided vivid insights into current research topics with a diverse program of lectures, experiments, and guided tours. Popular activities included tours of the clean room, hands-on crafting in the Start-A-Factory, and practical demonstrations such as measuring radar systems. This event offered participants the chance to experience science firsthand and gain direct insight into everyday research.
