Starting on the 11th March, Dr. Karlheinz Bock is taking up an appointment as Professor of “Polytronic Systems” at the Technische Universität Berlin (Technical University Berlin).

The professorship is part of the key research area Microperipheral Technology (Faculty IV). Prof. Bock, who also heads the Department of Polytronic Systems at Fraunhofer IZM, is an expert in the development of components and heterointegration technologies for manufacturing cost-effective, flexible systems, which range from low-priced, disposable electronics through to highly functional communication electronics.
