Award for Fraunhofer IZM at the Ideas Competition – International Research Marketing

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has awarded Fraunhofer IZM a prize in the ideas competition for international research marketing. The research prize is awarded for the concept of a scientific blog in the field of microelectronics and is financed by special funds from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The award ceremony will take place on May 19, 2020 at the BMBF Forum "Research in Germany".

The platform is intended to facilitate a global exchange of knowledge and increase the importance of research priorities and research institutions an international level. Nationally and internationally qualified researchers and interested parties are also to be included and funded and general reporting on the latest trends and technologies from industry and science is to take place. The uniqueness of the idea lies in the combination of information, communication and openness. It is not only about access to scientific, application-oriented topics and futuristic trends, but also about the digital cooperation of renowned researchers and visionaries from all over the world.
