IEEE names Dr. Martin Schneider-Ramelow IEEE Senior Member

The world’s largest professional association of engineers, the “Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)”, has granted Fraunhofer IZM’s Dr. Martin Schneider-Ramelow “Senior Member” status. 

Schneider-Ramelow, Head of the Fraunhofer IZM department "System Integration & Interconnection Technologies” and the Fraunhofer IZM Branch Lab “Microsystem Engineering” at Berlin Adlershof is a world-renowned expert on the wire-bonding quality and reliability. He has been First Chair of IMAPS German and Chair of the research group DVS AG2.4 “Bonding” since 2009.

IEEE Senior Membership is the highest attainable level of IEEE membership and is only awarded to scientists widely regarded as experts by their peers. Fraunhofer IZM now has five researchers appointed by the IEEE to this upper echelon, thanks to their outstanding professional expertise.
